WIP

The last time that Craftymummy and I had a sewing day we decided that we should post works in progress or WIP's. Sounds so much better than UFO, though I guess that if the WIP sits in the cupboard for too long it becomes a UFO.

Anyhow here are ongoing pics of a quilt I am making for my friend M. She is expecting her first bub in June, and I am making a quilt. It will be toddler sized, and is my first go at a double sided quilt! The hexagons will be the backing, yet again another Lintott project (Quilt Room Books). The front of the quilt will have the blocks shown and will have blue ABC blocks for the border, the sashing will be white with blue dotty corner stones. The fabric range is Love U by Deb Strain from Moda.

Finally as promised the 2nd jelly roll that I bought from the states, far more restrained than my usual - I am looking forward to finding a project to suit.

Love the kids quilt fabric - very cute but not too baby-ish
