Snowdrops all over

Well, not one of my quilts but thought that you might like to see the quilt mum found in a open house/ cafe near St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. The quilter must have had a thing for snowdrops, I can only imagine the work that went into this!! Even the flying geese blocks must have taken ages, and then there's the volume of applique. Not my cup of tea - but pretty spectacular.

A lap quilt for Miss 4

This was my first attempt at a quilt-as-you-go quilt. Each Dutch Doll block is machine appliqued & then quilted before joining together with sashing.

Great fun & very quick to complete.

A lap quilt for Miss 2

This quilt was completed for Miss 2 in July 2009.

Ribbon stars blocks quilted around stars & in the ditch.

A quilt for Miss 0

I began this quilt when I was pregnant with my first baby, 7 years ago. It got put aside for a time & was finished in time for Miss 0 to be born 2 months ago!!

Patchwork blocks - snowball & square in square blocks quilted in the ditch.
